Bad Investment Coin

Over the spring break of 2024 I decided that I was going to make a cryptocurrency more specifically an ERC-20 token which isn't technically speaking its own standalone cryptocurrency it is an Ethereum contract. But nevertheless I thought it would be pretty fun and silly project and I just wanted to learn how to do it. So I created "Bad Investment Coin" most cryptocurrencies talk about how they are going to make a lot of money. But I thought it would be quite funny to have one that talks about the opposite. So it was quite shocking to me when within hours of me listing it on Uniswap exchange it hit a $1.4 million market cap. However I am not swimming in the riches, while since I was the sole liquidity provider I could have walked away with essentially everything I felt that would be a morally grey move. So I decided to go one step further and lock the liquidity preventing me from being able to have that option. Over time the currency declined and essentially went to nothing. But at least I still have my morals and a pretty cool story to talk about.
